A quick read that renders well a slice of life from one night in the Lebanese Civil War. The universality of how people and life goes on was well communicated, and I really liked the drawings.
I am familiar with the history of the Lebanese Civil War, so I didn't notice a lack of context that other reviewers have commented upon. It's true that the children are not the principal protagonist of this story, but the straight-forward story-telling style make it suitable as an introduction to this topic ...more
