I don't have the book in front of me, which means I keep on checking and rechecking the Amazon webpage to make sure it was indeed 400+ pages. Because it seemed much, much shorter. A light and fast read that would have been so much more enjoyable if I found the protagonist the least bit likable. As it was, I found her condescending and undeserving, and I'm pretty sure she wasn't supposed to come off as being either.

This book was probably my introduction to chic-lit. I was easily able to identify with the main character and, despite the fact that she was often caught up in the worst positions, I loved her drive. Her struggle between her career and her love life was something that I believe most women in their 20s worry about.
Loved it! Finished it in a day it was so good to me. About the boss from hell. Lots about fashion(which I love) and great character(Andrea)- loved the movie as well but book is even better.
