"Unadulterated fun and screwball crime capers" says Time Out. Pretty good summary, and I agree with the general concensus that this is one of the best in the series. Really should be shelved under "humour". ...more

Ranger is wanted for questioning in the murder of Hector Ramos and has skipped out on bail so Stephanie is assigned some of the more difficult bail jumpers that Ranger would have gotten. The evil Joyce Barnhardt is trying to bring Ranger in. Grandma Mazur comes to live with Stephanie for awhile and learns how to drive. It has been awhile since I read a Stephanie Plum novel and I think the break definitely increased my appreciation of the humor in this book.
