The premise of this book is interesting. The protagonist who ages as the same rate as any human spends individual days in a different host body all within the same geographical area.

This was a very unique book. It’s unlike a lot of things I’ve read. At times I was a bit creeped out by the scenario of an “ entity” , no I’m not talking alien- but the spirit ( for lack of a better word) inhabiting a new body each day. It was quite clever. I don’t give spoilers. I will say this, it made me think a lot about stereotypes, gender, identity, and the completely different lives we all live. Brilliant idea but poorly executed. Good idea that I initially loved but turned into a silly romance and a series of after school specials.
LIKES: I love that the protagonist, A, is wise beyond their years for good reason. They've seen the world through so many different eyes-(view spoiler)- that they are really such a wonderfully shaped character. I loved following their story and seeing their conflict. I also loved this story's conflict resolution, something that is underappreciated but when an author gets it right, it feels so good.

This is such a beautiful book, with a very original premise and story line. A is a gentle honorable soul, who inhabits a different body every day. S/he falls in love, and the sacrifice this soul makes becomes clear in the end. There were so many thoughtful and inspiring lines and paragraphs, I can't remember making so many notes and sending quotes from a book in a long time. Well written and well paced, this is a book I had to buy for my kids
