Currently reading "The Body" for my Filmed Novel class. The movie version is a classic - Stand By Me. I'm not much of a King fan, so it'll be interesting to see how this goes...
Update: I liked it well enough, but it was really hard for me to read it without picturing the movie. Since the point of the class is to study the adaptation from book to film, I guess that's a good thing, but I dunno. I liked some things about it, but I'm just not a big fan of King's writing. ...more
