Quite the book but if you need to ask thr meaning of any of the words you are probably trying to reading the wrong book.

I understand the historical value of the book, but I'm not sure if I understand it's value AS a book. Lots of people I like and authors I respect have had nice things to say about it. I can't do that, as it depicts/describes a wholly unrealistic (to me) world from a perspective that is filled with racism, bile, bigotry, homophobia, misogyny and various other forms of hatefulness. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you have a particular reason or an interest in the history of censorship/publishing.
