I read this for a Book Club, which I would bug during witching hours to exclaim over how delightfully creepy this was and how this lapsed Catholic will go find a cross necklace and have an excuse to not look at people in the eye. It reminded me a lot of Midnight Mass, my favorite TV series in Flanaverse. The author's foreword and afterword added to the good reading experience. The only Stephen King book I've ever read. It's not that I didn't like, it was just too scary for me at the time. One part had a vampire baby--aaaaack!!!
