It has been a while since I have picked up anything by Christopher Moore. He is a good author, but after a while all hsi book sound the same as in crazy thing happens to crazy person and things become even crazier. However it was fun to read him again, this was not my favorite by him, but it was a quick fun read.

Moore's books consistently make me laugh like crazy while I fall in love with his characters - Tommy and Jodie have such a sweet and realistic relationship that you root for them all the way, and the Animals' ways of keeping their Safeway jobs interesting are a lovable riot. Just plain yay.

In recent years, trendy vampire books seem to have sprouted like mushrooms in a damp climate. On the whole I don't see much point in them, but I'm a fan of Christopher Moore, and thought this foray into the genre (with a comic twist) was reasonably entertaining.
