What Members Thought

The book begins with an airline counter mysteriously exploding in fire. Then we switch to Dirk gently who has been hired to protect a songwriter from a green creature armed with a scythe. Unfortunately Dirk arrives too late and finds the songwriter has been beheaded. Eventually the two stories end up connecting with the help of some Norse mythology. I like Douglas Adams writing style> there were parts of this book that were funny but it isn't one of my favorites of his.

Adams is a great British humorist, and this is typically bizarre for him - nothing quite makes any sense, but the sheer randomness of it all will have you giggling.
