Un beau livre, pas trop long, une histoire assez facile à suivre qui a assez d’intrigue pour garder un ado en haleine, en fait les jeunes et les moins jeunes. Ça se lit super bien, donc un livre qui pourrait être une belle transition pour des lectures de l’ado à jeune adulte qui aime bien le style Harry Potter. Je recommande.
I picked up this book blindly at the airport because he happens to be one my favourite authors. I then saw his note to the reader stating that it was published as a YA book. But . . . we'll see. It's Zafon after all . . .

Definitely doesn't have the depth and complexity of his adult fiction, and unfortunately suffers for it - seems way too thin and lightweight to really be interesting.
