I didn't like this book and hated the main character. I've never understood what all the fuss is about and how anyone would want to emulate him in real life. As you know, this book is at the root at some real life person's desires to kill celebrity figures. I still don't get why.

รู้สึกว่ามันผูกพันกับบริบทบางอย่างในสมัยนั้น ทำให้เราอ่านในช่วงอายุนี้แล้วรู้สึกว่าโฮลเดนเป็นคนน่ารำคาญ (แม้จะมีส่วนที่เราเกือบจะเข้าใจหรือ related กับเขาแล้วก็ตาม) คิดว่าถ้าเราอ่านตอนเด็กกว่านี้คงจะอินมากกว่านี้ อีกอย่างรู้สึกว่ามีหนังสือหลายเล่มได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเล่มนี้ไปเยอะเหมือนกัน แล้วเราเพิ่งได้อ่านเล่มนี้ทีหลัง
This is a great little book that makes you look inside yourself and people you're with.
If you don't like the book because you don't like Holden Cauldfield, you're missing the point.
I admit it is not a pleasant book to read. Holden is not someone that I would like to spend any time with, let alone listen to him rant on and on. But after I get past that, it is not about Holden anymore. It's about all of us. ...more

One of my favourite books since I was a teenager. I own it and re-read it every now and then.
