What Members Thought

I am working my way through Austen's works. This year,
was up, and I rather enjoyed it. One of my friends has pointed out to me that this book is an editing nightmare, and she is right to an extent. There are a number of long, run-on sentences. There are also times when conversations between characters are taking place and it's difficult to follow who is saying what. Because of these issues, at times I felt that Austen was either rushing to get this book written or to get it on the shelf.
