Since taking a few scuba diving lessons, I've been really inspired to read this book!

Incidentally, I used to love the submarine ride (RIP) at Disneyland.

3.5 stars!

A fantastic adventure story way ahead its time. Jules Verne was a very good writer, and this story, even though a bit flat here and there, can capture the essence of thrilling, wonderful mysteries under the sea, with the mysterious Captain Nemo and his obsession of revenge :)

I would certainly recommend this book to all kids who want to venture more into the classics.

I REALLY enjoyed the beginning. The middle and the end got very wordy, but the basic story was still interesting. I am glad I read the book.
