I thought that this book was good. I didn't love it. I found the writing to be not as good as The End of the Affair, which I did love. I also found the storyline to be unexciting. I understand the subtle meaning around America's role in the war, which I don't disagree with, and the difficulty of Americans in understanding and respecting other cultures. However, overall, this book didn't really capture my hear or my mind. ...more
