I liked rereading this after reading Norse Mythology, albeit a child-friendly version.

A solid, beautiful story of a boy who outwits a frost giant. Neil Gaiman is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. He knows how to tell a story, a beautiful story, with little to no violence, and this simple fact makes the story even more wonderful.

I listened to the audio version of the story, which is narrated by Neil Gaiman. He can not only write a great story, he tells a great story! I was actually quite sad when the story ended - I really wanted it to keep going.
