What Members Thought
Kathy Reichs used to be my favorite author, and I don't know if she's gotten into a rut, or if I'm just no longer enamored with her style, but either way, this book didn't do it for me. It was too self-aware, too precious, too bogged down in details. I used to enjoy the technical/medical details that Reichs includes, but this time I found myself skimming entire paragraphs. Similar plot line set up as the last 4 books, which is disheartening as one already sees the "evil doers" by the first third of the book.

I loved the premise and I love Tempe, but I thought the ending was a crap-out.
