The title and covert art lead me to expect this to be chick-lit, but it’s a straight-up romance (with some extremely steamy sex scenes, which I usually avoid in audiobook format! Phew! My goodness!! [fans self] ).

Chloe had so many erm, defense mechanisms, that I wanted to try to steal Red from her. There were some nice lines but overall, it tried too hard to be funny. Pretty good disability and abuse survivor rep, I learned a lot. The narrator, Adjoa, did a great job, especially with the Britishisms.

Charming! Funny, sweet, smart and steamy. Wonderfully unique, layered characters in hilarious (yet believable) situations. I love that both Chloe and Red are working on themselves and still find time for each other. With a satisfying HEA, this is one romance readers need to check out!
