This series went out not with a bang or a whimper, but rather a soft pop. For some reason, I just wasn't feeling this book as much as I have other books by Jill or the other two books in the series. I think it's because Sophie stayed a tad bit too prickly for too long and I wasn't as wowed by Jacob as I could be and I wasn't wowed by the plot either. I didn't hate this book by any means, but I didn't love it either. I just liked it. Hopefully the next book that I read by Jill will be better. ...more
