What Members Thought
I'm having a difficult time mustering much more of a reaction than "meh" to this - it feels very overstuffed, largely because I think Harrison is using this less as a story that stands alone but as a springboard/groundlaying for the next five books in the series. While I understand the desire to do so because it feels like worldbuilding, the effect is that this book drags much more than it should.
