Beautiful writing, but almost nothing happened. This needed some heavy editing. Had I not had to read so much repetitious text (describing the same scenery - albeit poetically), I would have enjoyed it more. Too bad, because the subject matter was so promising...

An amazing story told by an amazing storyteller. This is a work of historical fiction that completely sucks you in and puts your right in the middle of an eyewitness retelling by the title character Corrag about her life labeled as a witch in 17th century Scotland and how she came to be part of about the Glencoe Massacre. A must read for anyone who is into historical fiction or Scottish history.

Historical fiction. Part epistolary. Beautifully written. Loved it!
