Really, Really enjoyed the way this thriller was written and told, as well as the author’s style, and the narration. Fun, interesting, and a wonderful thriller.

4.5 stars for me

I thought that this book was great. It's well written and the story is very interesting because of both the way that Hawley has developed his characters and the way in which he allows the overall story to unfold. The book is smart and fresh, and the ending makes sense, too. However, Hawley failed to address (view spoiler). I assume as a reader that that also happened, but it would have been nice

Heard this praised a bunch of time as a great summer page-turner, so figured I've give it a shot. Entertaining page-turner it is certainly is, but I'd stop well short of calling it great. Interesting story and format, but it left me wanting fewer story threads that went deeper. While the male characters felt layered and complicated, the female characters seemed like hasty sketches, not fully formed. I didn’t love that. I listened on audio, if it had been in paper, I don’t think I would have finished it.
