It’s a gentle little romance, a gentle little mystery, a gentle little YA, all pushed up a notch because it is set in Italy. So here’s what you get: (1) two love stories, (2) two mysteries, (3) Florence, (4) a bit of Rome, and a bunch of great characters.
For some reason this book hit the spot for me. I needed a read that was light and refreshing. The author Jenna Evans Welch, who happens to be Richard Paul Evans daughter, filled me with thoughts of Italy and being young.

Ok soooo... this is not actually my usual cup of tea. But my nephew gave it to me as a Christmas gift last year and I would feel bad if I never read it, especially because according to his father (my bro), he spent quite some time to choose a gift for me and finally decided for this book because of the gelato thing (we both are huge fans of gelato!)
