I reread this for #ReadChristie2021, for the prompt "a story set in a grand house". I remember that I didn't really like the story, and after rereading it, I still can confirm that this is not my favorite Christie's, and definitely not my favorite Poirot's.

Nu este cea mai reușită carte a Agathei Christie din cat am citit pana acum, asa ca nu prea stiu ce sa zic. Actiunea mi s-a parut oarecum haotica, prea multa vorbarie, iar dezlegarea finalului nu prea m-a impresionat. Era ca si cum abia asteptam sa se dezlege odata misterul ca sa pot sa imi iau adio de la carte. Din pacate, cartea este, din punctul meu de vedere, un talmes-balmes de personaje si tot felul de fapte care te lasa rece...Dar hei, Agatha merita citita, chiar daca nu toate cartile sun

Definitely not my favorite of Poirot's story, simply because I didn't get enough of his part!! Well at least the setting is interesting, murder by the pool!

The intro felt like a slow burn Sidney Sheldon-ish character analysis. I was glad when Hercule came on but I was just annoyed by everyone else.
