What Members Thought
I read Foundation in High School, then saw the first Star Wars movie. I thought it was so much like Foundation that it was based on this trilogy. I didn't see Asimov's name at all in the credits, only George Lucas. I thought it time to re-read this series (spurred on by the latest Star Wars movie). I enjoyed it just as much this time. On to the second book.

The two star rating just reflects what I think of the writing. I can't get over it, by space! And I can't bring myself to give it any more than that. I can get into the ideas, but not much more than if I had read about them in a political science textbook. Besides, it's got plenty of great ratings and near unanimous praise elsewhere.
