The reader is outstanding on audio, but what started out as a strong story fizzled out by the end for me. I think it may have been how long it took to get to what really happened.
Give it a try for the exceptional writing.

Dnf-ed 2 chapters in. Chapter 1 - author patted themselves in the back via the first-person narrator for using the word "suffer" in different ways. Chapter 2 - inserted poetry writing styles.
