While I did enjoy the previous books in this series, unfortunately, I found this one to be a bit of a drag throughout most of the book. A preview copy of this novel arrived at the office and I picked it up...20 hours later I finished it! I'm not familiar with the author (and genre), but I thought her writing was extremely polished and the repartee smart and filled with romantic tension. I enjoyed this book. It was a nice surprise.
