The Inspector & Silence the sixth book in the Van Veeteren (VV) series translated to english. I've read all prior books and have had mixed feelings of the stories.

Good old Nesser. The plot is interesting though not very complicated. What are liked is Van Veeteren's contemplation about his life and job. The top are the lines that make you smile (not laugh but smile :) even though the book deals with one of the gravest topics (sect, rape and murder).
