It's a sign of how well my new Kindle Paperwhite is working out for me that I've already finished a lengthy fantasy on the thing. I loved The Lies of Locke Lamora, and I've been looking forward to the sequel, so I decided to use the excuse of a new Kindle to try it out with a good book. (Well, I assumed it would be a good book--thankfully, I was not disappointed.)

An excellent continuation in the series. I love these characters, and Lynch's writing is just fantastic.

I’m about done with the second “Gentlemen Bastard” book ‘Red Seas under red skies’. Over all it is an enjoyable book, and series. The Characters continue to develop. Lynch, does a fine job of keeping the plot devices fresh, even in the confines of the format he is writing in. The main power of the series lies in the colorful dialog. For me at any rate. I look forward to the third book.
