3.0 to 3.5 stars. A good book to read if interested in the Robot Series, but I liked the actual series better than this collection of short stories.

I remember reading this book back in high school, and I remember being unimpressed by it. This just goes to indicate that tastes change with years. Of course, picking this up a second time, I realized that I remember practically nothing about any of these stories.

I, Robot is a collection of Isaac Asimov's earliest Robot stories. It's one of those classic, almost legendary books. Which pretty much makes it impossible to review properly.
The first thing it's important to note is that these stories are old. The book was published in the 50s and it contained short stories that Asimov had written in the 40's. And inevitably that age shows.

I'm just not much of a fan of short stories. If you like Asimov and short stories, these are probably right up your alley.

I didn't expect this to be like the movie, but at the same time, it was nothing like I expected - so very clinical and scientific, much less adventure...interesting, but so far removed from what stands for current sci-fi that it was hard to get into.
