I really had fun with this book. The footnotes Bartimaeus uses threw me for a loop at first but then, I really got into them. What a great way to introduce young readers to finding information by way of footnotes. I haven't used footnotes since reading Chaucer and Shakespeare - I must say these were much easier to read.

This is a great book. I love how the point of veiw is usually Bartimaeus and he is one of the funniest characters alone that i know. Worth the time it takes to read.
