Reread. Lieutenants Miles and Ivan are sent on a diplomatic mission to Cetaganda, where Miles solves a murder mystery and prevents galactic unrest. Ivan is along mostly for comic relief, and he has a few great scenes.

A satisfying Miles Vorkosigan book. Ah, in the haut society of Cetaganda--the enemy and sweet love. All mixed up with potential death.
This book definitely wasn't as good as the greats in this series, but it was enjoyable.
