borrowed from valerie. entertaining, but i spent the entire book thinking about how "alana: the first adventure" is better. we'll see how the second one goes. i'm certainly not expecting innovative, but it would be nice if rowling at least avoid such awful phrases as "bated breath."

I was pleasantly surprised. The book was definitely better than the movie and it read well. It had some very nice character moments, some funny scenes and even though the very beginning, Harry's uncle and aunt, was a bit over-the-top, the rest was pretty good!
