this is to scifi what LOTR is to fantasy. amazing depth on every front. and the story is pretty great too! after i read this, i had to read all the dune books.
I read this after seeing the TV mini-series (the most recent one). I loved them both. I couldn't put it down and didn't want it to end. I loved the characters, their interactions, their chemistry and the passion for what is right.
