This book is great. It starts off really slow, and it seems even slower because of all the terms he tosses at you. That being said it is worth the effort getting threw the first 100 pages. A good alternative title could be : despair for all
This was a fun surprise! A definite, powerful step from the Mistborn series into more "serious," adult-oriented fantasy writing. The overall tone is lighter and more straightforward than my usual/favorite books. The naming of things in the world, as well as the overall character of the world, gives the feel of "nice," lighter fantasy; for me this made parts of the book feel a little hackneyed. Good book but sure was thick. If you're a linear reader, you wont like this one. It jumps around a lot. I wish it had been put into two books versus this tomb.
