Jennifer Weiner is a fantastic writer. Whenever I read her books, I feel as if I am part of the story. [SPOILER ALERT:] Without giving away the end...let's just say that this book made me cry. Another summer read -- but the ending was more surprising than I expected in a good way.

Not the page turner nor as funny as the first book in the series. The near end shocked me into disbelief. I wasn't touched or sad when I should have been. Teen/mother drama fills me with dread so that part wasn't enjoyable either. I will read the next book she writes in hopes she gets back to funny because it is what she does best.
