Lover of Romance
It took me a while to get engaged in this one, but it did happen so only a four star read, I think I had to adjust to this author's writing style. But enjoyed it

The Sweetest Oblivion has been all over the place lately and when my GR friend Val rated it a 4.5 star I knew I had to stop what I was doing and read it. I love Mafia romance and this one was just so yummy to me. Was it perfect? Absolutely not but I didn't care because I couldn't put it down. This book walked so that the many many others since could run. I kept putting this book off after reading the first chapter many many over the past few years times coz I had a feeling i was really really going to like it and thus,I was hoarding it.. I was correct. I loved it!

The writing was good, the characterization was just enough fantasy sprinkled with mafia terms to keep us in universe without going all dark and gritty borderline assault-y, like nowadays mafia books tend to do.
