When the author wrote Slow Burn, she meant slow burn! But I loved it. She really took her time to develop the characters Chef Bianca Hardwick and business mogul Jackson Walker Boudreaux.

Burn For You is the very first book that I have ever picked up from this author, and after seeing so many of my fellow blogging friends enjoy this book so much, I just knew that I needed to try this one out and WOWZERS this book rocked my world!! Omg I loved this!! It was emotional, angsty (not over the top though), funny, loaded with a ton of sexual tension and sexy as all get
out! All the characters were great, the storyline was fantastic and Jackson Boudreaux has officially been added to my list of favorite book boyfriends...hot and extremely tortured!?...doesn't get much better than that! Bianca's mother said it perfectly..."like Creme Brulee...hard as nails on the outside but all soft and gooey on the inside"....mmhhmm!!

Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux | Bianca Hardwick

I really loved this story. It had a Beauty & the Beast theme going, which I loved as well. I loved that it was the fake dating/marriage trope, but everything took place before an actual wedding. I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did, because Bianca was the perfect foil for Jackson's grumpiness.
