I listened to an abridged audio version of this story, and I was not a fan. I missed several of my favorite lines, and I have Sophy's voice imagined so clearly in my head that I could not make the adjustment to Miss Wille's voice.

Heyer's books are always a fun romp, and this one is particularly rompy. Sophy comes to live with her repressed relatives while her father travels to Brazil. Thanks to her continental and unconventional upbringing, Sophy brings with her upheaval and distress, but all for the best.
