Christ! Aleksandr Voinov rocks my freaking world AGAIN!

This author nails it for me. Every. Single. Time. Nobody writes military m/m like this.
Scorpion is a dark(er) military fantasy set in the old empire of Shara, where three cities fight and plot against each other. This is a tale of warriors and nobles and the battles they wage for ultimate power. Politics and skulduggery, power plays with brutal costs and sex - really fierce warrior type sex.

I really enjoyed this story. It was very different from anything I have read, and by far, not the lighter reading I have been used to. There is plenty of action, fighting and sex, some torture and intrigue and a little mystery. I found that whenever I felt a little confused about things, they were quickly cleared up and the story moved on. I couldn't wait to get to the end to see how everything played out.
