First of all, I think the Lunar conflict is captivating. Who are these people? What are they? What did they do to the moon? WHY WON'T YOU GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION?
As a writer, Marissa Meyer doesn't delve into a lot of back story, which is a shame because I'd really love to know more about this world.

I think I would have liked this book more if I didn't have such high expectations. So many people on YouTube are gushing over Cinder and I thought it would be amazing...
