This bk was better than the last, but nowhere near as good as the first 4 books. As someone else said, the first 4 bks were re-reads, these last 2 weren’t. For me OGAAT picked up about half way through when Ian showed up. His snarky comments and sexual innuendos made this book.
What’s always been the most fun with this series aside from Cat and Bones are the side characters…Spade, Ian, Mencheres, Vlad, Tate, Juan, Justina, etc. The last 2bks fell short for me without these characters being more ...more

I don't know but it seems to be that the series is limping a litte bit. The book was good but not that good as I've expected from the author and from the series.
The story is, yeah, not that good. They are hunting a ghost who have murdered wichtes before. Ok, great but where is the tension and the passion behind it?

Cat and Bones remain my favorite characters in the paranormal romance genre, but this is the 2nd book in a row that has disappointed. It seems like what worked in the first 4 books was that the story focused on their relationship and the secondary part of the story focused on the antagonists. These last 2 books have focused more on the antagonist then their relationship. I get that you can't break them up in every book, but I hoping Frost's incredible talent will get these books back on track.
