I loved this book and can't wait to read the next of the series. This is the first book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

I can't believe I held out so long on reading this series! I started this book to appease a few of my friends, that just so happen to be die hard BDB fans. What went from two chapters quickly lead to me turning the page in anticipation to see what was going to happen next. Darious, one of the Brotherhood, asks Wrath to help his daughter Beth in her transition. Wrath refuses, but then something happens to Darius and Wrath goes to Beth. WOW - great way to start a series. Usually series in the first book get bogged down in too many details or don't do a very good job of setting up the series. This book did a great job of setting up a new mythology, introducing interesting characters and was a good story within itself. It also did not end in a cliff hanger - I loved that! It could of used a bit more humor and I felt that the characters could easily have embraced that. Rather than that - very good read. ...more

Wow, it was passionate, exciting and just down right fun. Wrath is one hot Vampire and Beth is his perfect match. Loved this book! Its the best book in the series as far as I am concerned.
