MacHalo Buddy Read aka The Schaefer Cult
We're banging out the Schaefer books in the Schaefer Cult. I'm pretty excited. This is going to be my first round.
I'm loving Daniel Faust and all his juicy bits. Magic, action, demons, and ghosts. What's more important is the way Schaefer writes. He has plenty to talk about and no need for page fillers.
Cheers to the Schaefer Cult and keeping Schaefer great.

Deep, dark, fascinating, good. Love the character of Daniel. Intrigued by Caitlyn. Adore his friends. There's enough twists and action to keep it interesting, but there's enough downtime to keep it emotionally real. Will continue with the series. Poor Stacey, though!

This was really good. A really good UF but dark. I'll have to wait a few days to decide whether I'll read on as the dark and violence was tough to read.
