What Members Thought

I'm a huge fan of Gaiman's creepy atmosphere and other worldly creatures, and this book delivered. There was the added bonus of taking a stroll down memory lane in both London Above and Below. Beautifully plotted, loved both Richard and Door, and a satisfying ending. My only complaint...no references to Notting Hill, my favorite Tube Station.

Neil Gaiman is a splendid writer and an inventive storyteller. This was his first full novel and it's a fantastic trek through a grim and magical London underworld. It's a quick read and reminded me in style and tone very much of his Graveyard Book.
