I highly recommend starting this book series! Intricate world and character building, with a subtle humor that will make you crack a smile while reading.
this was a pretty good book. i admit though that i had to put it down the first time. then a friend told me how good it was so i gave it another try. i guess there is a gift and a curse with this book in that his fantasy is so different that you really have to pay attention to detail. there were so many concepts that i either had to go back and re-read, or just accept that i didn't get and hope that they'd be better explained later.
