Promising start to trilogy, really got into the book in the second half..... interested in checking out the 2nd in the series.

Clearly a first novel since it's full of little issues and some bad editing, but it improves as it goes along, and I know from reading Best Served Cold that the author did indeed get better. I give it three and a half stars, though this site sadly doesn't give that option. ...more
