I read this book super fast because it was fantastic, a real fantasy with wizard and dragons and sorcerers and shadows, to sum up the best of the best and now I will go straight to the second!

Ursula Le Guin made fantasy history with "A Wizard of Earthsea," a spare but strangely entrancing story about a young wizard coming of age. Despite a rather distant writing style, Le Guin's story is still a classic that is generally put on the same shelf as Lewis and Tolkien.

The language and style is "old-school" and somewhat reminiscent of LOTR. Which is a very good thing! Has a timeless feel to it. ...more
