To get away from the bad news of real life, I turned to this book - the telling of the coming apocalypse to relax and enjoy!? This is a fun story told with great detail, a sense of humor and ridiculous situations which add to the overall enjoyment. I very much enjoyed it and placed it on my keeper shelf.

The dialogue in Good Omens is very witty and entertaining. The plot is thin and hard to care for. Characters are memorable but I wish there were fewer characters to focus on. The book has many passages that were so laugh out loud funny that I might re-read it just for those. This one is a great book to read with a fellow book-lover.
