What Members Thought
Had high hopes for this one, but I have to table it. Made it 50% of the way through and just had to stop. Maybe I'll pick it up again some other time? Dunno...probably not though (if I'm being honest).
This story starts out great. Very atmospheric...has the feeling of one of those old time fairy tales. Then it just bogs down. Majorly. Maybe it picks up at the end? I'm not sure if I just do not like Russian fairytale books or if I just have read two really bad ones, but I hated this book. I literally have nothing good to say about it. Not sure why it is so popular tbh.
