What Members Thought

This was something of a let down for me... Then again my hopes were way way high. Anyhoo,
What I liked:
1. A+ Plotting (excepting the EVERY YA NOVEL MUST HAVE A SEQUEL ending)
2. the moment where I believed that Kaz gutted Pekka Rollins piece by piece
3. very clear writing, good world building
What was Meh:
1. Vengeance is the weakest of all plots for me to read in a YA Novel - like in Girl with a Dragon Tattoo - with its adult repercussion - I hella like vengeance, but Bardugo pulled the punch on Kaz ...more
What I liked:

What a fun fantasy read! Band of misfits (check), impossible heist (check), shenanigans ensue! Seriously, I really enjoyed these characters (although I found their young ages a little hard to swallow), and while this is YA, the romance wasn't overly emphasized. Instead, there was nonstop action, smart scheming and daring escapes, and some real heart in the characters. Warning, the ending is a cliff hanger, and I'm immediately diving into the next book!
